.......Wiclif Otieno
Wiclif Otieno 30 years old Founder & CEO Wiclif Otieno survived on the streets for over five years after he was orphaned at the age of seven. He was rescued and taken to a rehabilitation center where he reformed and enrolled to school after a year. This opportunity came with a calling as Wiclif later decided to form Kito to address the ever increasing issue of youth unemployment in the slums and also help in the full reintegration of rehabilitated street youth. Wiclif has been trained as a Facilitator on Street Business Toolkit by Street Kids International. He has been selected for numerous fellowships including Cordes Fellow, Spark Fellowship, Laureate Global Fellowship, Young Leaders Fellows and represented Kenya at the Prestigious One Young World Summit in USA. He has deep understanding of street youth and is very passionate about bringing the change he would like to see in the lives of youth in his community in Kawangware.
Reuben Owuor
Reuben Owuor : Programs Manager Reuben joined Kito in our second cohort in 2011. Reuben grew up in Kibera slums with his parents and attended school there. He went through the Kito training and after successfully completing it joined college where he pursued a diploma in Project Planning and Management. He currently oversees the programs and also is the chief marketing officer for Ecosafi, Kito’s social enterprise. He is passionate about giving back and transforming the lives of other youth.
Wilkister Ahinga
Wilkister Ahinga Trainer/Outreach Coordinator Wilkister joined Kito in 2011 as a youth. After completing the training Kito helped her to get a paid internship with DOT Kenya for a year where she was responsible for delivering ReachUp! Program in Kawangware. She is an Akili Dada fellow which also enabled her to further her leadership skills for a year. She has an advanced diploma in project planning and management.
Joshua N Munyao
Joshua N Munyao Finance And Programs Advisor Joshua is a social entrepreneur passionate about driving real change through promoting innovative and creative social ventures geared towards uplifting the human dignity through providing opportunities to earn a sustainable decent living. He is a firm believer in fairness and justice social economic aspects of all irrespective of social class, cultural, race, religion or gender. He has 10 years of experience & Professional qualification in Strategic Project Planning and Management, Youth livelihood programming and financial management. Joshua is a Co- founder of NETWORK FOR YOUTH EMPOWERMENT-KENYA.
